Decor refresh for spring

The Sword Gate House in Charleston

I need this house.  Actually, not really.  I prefer something a little smaller and cozier, but, I mean, say I inherited it from a rich southern aunt I didn't know I had, I wouldn't turn around and sell it.  Instead I would move in, buy lots of pretty dresses to wear in the house (it feels like a dressier, no jorts kind of house) and invite lots of people to come stay with me and play antebellum tea party.  <br /><br />Anyway, when I stumbled upon the listing for the historic <a href="http://www.danielravenelsir.com/Sword-Gate-House.html">Sword Gate House</a> in Downtown Charleston, I felt it my duty to share some of it with y'all.  It's a lot of house(s) that has been beautifully restored by it's current owners who bought the property in separate pieces to bring it back to one estate.  It's real fancy y'all. <br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; Charleston Trip

Morning y'all!  I just got off the scale to find I have gained 3 lbs in 3 days.  Nice.  Charleston was wonderful despite the fact that it was unseasonably cold there.  It's just such a fabulous city, you can't help but be inspired everywhere you go.  I'm just going to share a few of the highlights since I know some of y'all are heading there in the next few months.  It's a long post, but it's not going to be all "hey look at my vacation photos, see how funny I look imitating this statue." (I did post a photo like that on Instagram so if you're really interested <a href="http://instagram.com/jhadley32/">follow me here</a>).<br /><br />We basically ate our way through Charleston.  Kip and I met up with my two besties and roommates from college.  While we left a lot of our bad habits back in Columbia, MO many years ago, eating massive quantities of good food is one that has withstood the test of time.   <br /><br />So here we go.<br /><br /><u><b>Thursday</b></u><br />Thursday night, we stayed at the <a href="http://www.johnrutledgehouseinn.com/">John Rutledge House Inn</a>.  Gorgeous place, really nice accommodations and great location.  I'm not a huge bed and breakfast person, but I'm glad we stayed here a night.  <br /><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto;
