Houses in Which I Could Live, Part 5

Morning y'all! So my bestie just returned from a trip to Charleston where she will be moving in a couple months and I'm beyond excited for her.  Charleston is one of my favorite cities and I always tell Kip if he got an opportunity to move there, he wouldn't even have to run it by me.  Of course, that will probably never happen since we have things pretty good right here in Kansas City.  So instead, I'm going to enjoy knowing my best friend is there and I can visit her any time I want. <br /><br />It doesn't stop me from checking out a little historic Charleston real estate (outside my budget, of course).  I would LOVE to have a home in historic Charleston and this Church St. home looks just about perfect for me.  I'll take it fully furnished please :) <br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; The Sword Gate House in Charleston

I need this house.  Actually, not really.  I prefer something a little smaller and cozier, but, I mean, say I inherited it from a rich southern aunt I didn't know I had, I wouldn't turn around and sell it.  Instead I would move in, buy lots of pretty dresses to wear in the house (it feels like a dressier, no jorts kind of house) and invite lots of people to come stay with me and play antebellum tea party.  <br /><br />Anyway, when I stumbled upon the listing for the historic <a href="http://www.danielravenelsir.com/Sword-Gate-House.html">Sword Gate House</a> in Downtown Charleston, I felt it my duty to share some of it with y'all.  It's a lot of house(s) that has been beautifully restored by it's current owners who bought the property in separate pieces to bring it back to one estate.  It's real fancy y'all. <br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; Charleston Trip

Morning y'all!  I just got off the scale to find I have gained 3 lbs in 3 days.  Nice.  Charleston was wonderful despite the fact that it was unseasonably cold there.  It's just such a fabulous city, you can't help but be inspired everywhere you go.  I'm just going to share a few of the highlights since I know some of y'all are heading there in the next few months.  It's a long post, but it's not going to be all "hey look at my vacation photos, see how funny I look imitating this statue."
