My current rotund condition does not allow for the whole "bending over and picking up" action necessary to clear the floors. The shop is called <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/SennCreations?ref=seller_info">SennCreations</a>.  I did a <a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/114844699/monogrammed-crib-sheet?ref=shop_home_active">black monogram</a> and strangely in shipping the sheet turned purple.  She was so accommodating and offered to make me another one, but after washing it a couple times the purple came out.  So strange! </li><li><b>Painting: </b>Made by moi using <a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/11047961559116958/">this Pinterest tutorial</a>.  I am no artist y'all, and I did like 12 of these before I got anything decent.  I have so much respect for all of y'all that create these beautiful and colorful abstract pieces! Little Robertson's Nursery is finished-ish!

Morning Y'all! Well, the nursery is basically finished.  I mean there's always more that could be done, especially when one is posting pictures on a blog for <strike>millions</strike> 12 people to see.  I pretty much worked with everything I already had from <a href="http://www.belclairehouse.blogspot.com/2011/01/then-comes-baby-in-baby-carriage.html">Edward's nursery</a> (including the ill-fitting ottoman slipcover - don't judge, it does it's job).  Although this nursery is very different from Edward's bright and colorful nursery.  This one's a bit more grown-up and soft.  It helps that we inherited some pretty fabulous wallpaper from the previous owners.  I can take no credit for that, except that I kept it.<br /><br />So with all of those caveats (I'm resisting the urge to point out everything wrong with the room), I give you Little Robertson's nursery.  <br /><br />Come on in! <br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; Baby Things

Morning y'all! Did y'all have a nice Easter weekend?  We had a nice relaxing day with family.  Edward had more sugar than I think he's ever had in his life.  He then danced, threw eggs at everyone, had an epic meltdown about a kangaroo, crashed hard for 45 minutes and then woke up hungry.  Sounds like college.  <br /><br /><br />I spent the weekend dreaming up a nursery situation for Little Robertson.  We basically just moved the nursery from the old house to the new house and while it doesn't need much, it does need some fine-tuning.   <a href="http://www.belclairehouse.blogspot.com/2011/01/then-comes-baby-in-baby-carriage.html">Edward's nursery</a> in the old house was bright and fun, but I want this one to be a little quieter.  With our new house, we inherited this gorgeous grey and cream wallpaper that I have no intention of ever removing.  My goal for this room is to have a classic, sanctuary-like feel with a couple of modern touches (like replacing the torn up baskets with clean acrylic and lacquered boxes and such). We will for sure be finding out what we're having.  No, I don't care whether it's a boy or a girl despite my recent pink obsession.  If it's a boy, all the more reason to pepper the rest of the house with pink, right? I figure, I'll get the child I'm supposed to have.<br /><br />Thanks for coming back and visiting!
