Today is National Tartan Day and in honor of my husband's Scottish heritage, I created a mood board using one of the many Robertson tartans. I actually would love to do my son's big boy room in the Robertson tartan. I would keep the room light with bright white, high-gloss walls and built-in everything, even the beds. That way he has plenty of floor space to play with numb-chucks or practice break-dancing or whatever he ends up being interested in (I can already tell he's going to be a very physical child). I love the idea of built-in bunk beds. They look so cozy and would be perfect for slumber parties!
