I've been a bad little blogger lately, but then again no one's paying me so ...
Anyway, I was literally pooped after hosting a little fundraising party at my house to raise money for Kip's campaign for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Man and Woman of the Year. It was super fun except for the part where Edward decided to take care of some business the exact moment guests arrived.
Let's just say, the headline of the Toddler Business section of the newspaper would read: Massive Blowout Spans Three Rooms; Husband Freaks; Mom Needs a Wardrobe Change
I mean,what are ya gonna do.

On to the business of blue and white, The Suze and I hit up one of our favorite antique shops where my mom describes herself as a "one-eyed, three-legged dog in a meat market."
I wanted to bring home this sassy gal below (and the lamps and the side board and the blue and white and all of it). The Suze ended up with some blue and white and treated me to a pretty blue coral piece.
The coral now rests comfortable atop some books next to some of my favorite things.
I'm going to be honest here, sometimes things do make you happy. Just a little bit happy for a moment, not like birthing your child happy or marrying your husband happy, but just a little upper. I think that's okay, right?
Now I'm going to enjoy the beautiful, perfect weather we are having today!
