Bed Rest, Pt 2

But I want to keep it real here because I know so many of us don't get a fun "install" when we decide to redecorate.  Also, if I wait until it's "done" it will be 2017.  <br /><br />We desperately need bedside tables.  I'm thinking of doing a desk on my side and a dresser on the other side.  We use <i>all</i> of our bedside table space.  I hid the night creme, lip balm, kindle, phone charger, two water glasses and ponytail holders that usually adorn my bedside. We also need curtains because in the Fall and Winter the morning sun shines right on my pillow (real nice). <br /><br />I'm also going to recover the pelmet boxes and hopefully salvage that tassel trim. I'm sort of struggling with what to do here.  My gut says go with something simple like a white linen, but I'm afraid the room will look too washed out.  The room is much more cream than yellow as it looks in this picture. I'm in full-out crazy pregnant lady nesting mode.  I spend a lot of that energy playing dinosaurs, chase, let's <i>not</i> jump on mommy and soothing ridiculous tantrums (the other day, Edward freaked out because he couldn't "eat a banana in a tree like a monkey").  But Little Robertson's going to be here soon and then I'll be in crazy new mom snuggle mode so I need to get this stuff done.  Off to nest!<br /><br />Have a great day!

Bed Rest

Morning y'all! No, I'm not on bed rest by any doctor's orders, although I did joke with my doctor that I'd be putting myself on bed rest after my trip.  Y'all, traveling just shy of 35 weeks is not pretty.  But it was worth it to relax in Sea Island with my family for a couple of days.  Watching Edward frolick in the waves and scream with delight was easily the best part of the trip. <br /><br />Also, shout out to my new reader friend Cannon! She came up to say hi the first day I was there and it made my day.  I figured if I ever ran into a reader it would be in Sea Island.  Folks that have been going there for years all share a special bond.  So thanks so much for introducing yourself!! <br /><br />So I really am putting myself on a little more bed rest these next 5 weeks (omg).  Because a.) I'm freaking exhausted and b.) right before we left for our trip, we bought a new bed!  Hallelujiah!!!
